A New Wrestling Drama Hits Kerala's Big Screen

Kerala is getting ready for a wild ride with a new movie called "Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies. " This film is all about the exciting world of WWE-style wrestling in the state. The movie stars Roshan Mathew, who won an award for "Paradise, " and Arjun Ashokan, known for "Bramayugam. " They are joined by other talented actors like Vishak Nair and Ishan Shoukath. The movie is directed by Adhvaith Nayar, who is new to directing. Shihan Shoukath is the creative producer, and he is working with Ritesh and Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan under the Reel World Entertainment banner. The technical team includes Anend C. Chandran, who will handle the camera work, and Kalai Kingson, who will choreograph the action scenes. The music is composed by Mujeeb Majeed, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar. Sanoop Thykoodam wrote the screenplay, and Praveen Prabhakar will edit the film. One big highlight is that the famous Bollywood music trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy are making their debut in Malayalam cinema with this film. The music rights are held by T-Series. The movie will be released in Malayalam and several other Indian languages. In Kerala, Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films will take care of the release. PVR Inox Pictures will handle distribution in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, while negotiations are ongoing for Telugu and Hindi language rights. International distribution will be managed by The Plot Pictures. Producer Shihan Shoukath shared his excitement, saying that the film has evolved over two years from a small idea into a big project. He described it as loud, chaotic, and full of emotion, deeply rooted in Kerala's culture but also fresh and genre-bending. Roshan Mathew added that "Chatha Pacha" is unlike anything he has done before, calling it a uniquely mad idea that excites everyone involved.
