Artificial Intelligence (AI) is causing quite a stir in the IT world, with mixed opinions on its future. While some see it as a threat, others are eager to adopt it. Accenture and Nvidia have just announced a big expansion of their AI partnership, aiming to sell machine learning algorithms to more businesses. Accenture is creating a new business group focused on Nvidia technology. This group will include thousands of trained professionals and automated "agents" to help businesses use AI more effectively. Accenture's key focus is on what they call "agentic AI systems. " These are designed to act on your behalf, creating new workflows or even recreating entire processes. Accenture customers are already using these systems, but now they'll get much better support. The company is adding over 30,000 human professionals to help clients adopt agentic AI systems quickly. These systems are built on a platform called AI Refinery, which uses Nvidia's full AI technology stack. Accenture says this platform will help businesses reinvent their processes, run simulations, and control their AI better. The new Nvidia Business Group is designed to speed up the adoption of generative AI services for companies working with Accenture. AI Refinery will be available as both a public and private cloud offering. Accenture's CEO, Julie Sweet, believes it will create new opportunities, change how businesses work, and make it easier to scale AI solutions. Additionally, Accenture is setting up engineering hubs to fine-tune AI models, with over 57,000 AI specialists in Europe, Asia, and North America. These hubs will likely play a big role in convincing other companies to adopt AI, even if it means changing their business plans. The hubs are based on existing centers in Mountain View and Bangalore.
