Belichick's College Comeback: A New Challenge for the NFL Legend

At 72, legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick isn't retiring yet. Instead, he's taking on a new adventure in college football. Belichick recently became the new head coach at the University of North Carolina, a school with a special place in his heart. His father, Steve, was an assistant coach there in the 1950s, so this is a bit of a homecoming for Bill. But why choose college football now? Belichick has had an incredible NFL career, winning six Super Bowls and being just 14 wins away from the all-time record held by Don Shula. He's been a candidate for future coaching roles, but those plans seem to be on hold for the next five years. College football will bring new challenges for Belichick. His girlfriend, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson, is excited about the move. She's a former college cheerleader and is already in the spirit, posting "We are onto Chapel Hill! " on her Instagram Story after Belichick's agreement with the Tar Heels was official. This isn't a quick stop for Belichick. He's in it for the long haul.
