BGC South East Soars to New Heights: Unveiling Expanded Education Programs and The Reading Clinic's Move

BGC South East's expansion of education programs and relocation of The Reading Clinic was made possible by a $200,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Over two years, this project has benefited 5,000 local children and youth through newly developed curriculums across Club programs, creating over 5,700 annual sessions with plans for further expansion. The Reading Clinic will move to the West End Community Centre to integrate services with diverse programs like aquatics, sports leagues, and the Robotics Lab. BGC South East's new program called TruePhonics utilizes The Reading Clinic's structured literacy model in group programs to reach more young minds, fostering a love for learning.
