Sun May 17 2026
The 2026 calendar marked a busy period for Bryan Cranston, who returned to the screen as Hal in Hulu’s revival of “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. ”
However, one of his darker projects is on the brink of a major shift. The crime drama “Your Honor, ” which had enjoyed a presence on Netflix, will be removed from the platform on Sunday, May 31.
The show began as a limited series and stretched to two seasons. Cranston confirmed on the “Armchair Expert” podcast that a third season would not happen, stating that he was preparing for the final, second season. He also hinted at a possible future expansion but expressed uncertainty.
“Your Honor” featured Cranston as Judge Michael Desiato, with a supporting cast that included Hunter Doohan and Sofia Black‑D’Elia. Critics have given the series mixed reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes hovering around 49–50% and audience ratings slightly higher on Popcornmeter.
Despite its high viewership on Showtime, the series’ critical reception has been uneven. The final season ended with a modest 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and 64% from audience votes, indicating that while viewers remained engaged, critics were less enthusiastic.
