The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing back some familiar faces for their Monday Night Football showdown against the Detroit Lions. Wide receiver Mike Evans, who has been sidelined for the past three games due to a hamstring injury, is finally active again. Joining him is rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who has been a standout performer this season. Egbuka has been a consistent presence on the field, leading the team with 27 receptions for 469 yards and five touchdowns. However, he did miss the second half of a recent game due to a hamstring issue. On the other side of the ball, the Buccaneers will be without a few key players. Wide receiver Chris Godwin, who has been dealing with a fibula injury, will sit out his second consecutive game. Running back Bucky Irving, who has been out for three games with foot and shoulder injuries, will also not play. Additionally, right guard Luke Haggard, who has started the past four games, is inactive due to a shoulder injury. The Buccaneers' defense is getting some reinforcements. Cornerbacks Zyon McCollum and Benjamin Morrison are both active after dealing with injuries. McCollum missed one game after a procedure on his left thumb, while Morrison has been out for the past two games with a hamstring injury. The Detroit Lions are also facing their own set of absences. Cornerbacks Terrion Arnold and Avonte Maddox, along with All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph, will not play due to shoulder, hamstring, and knee injuries, respectively. Additionally, starting safety Brian Branch is serving a one-game suspension. Other inactives for the Lions include running back Sione Vaki, defensive linemen Quinton Jefferson and Mekhi Wingo, and safety Jammie Robinson. With both teams dealing with injuries and suspensions, it will be interesting to see how they adapt and perform on Monday night.
