Get ready, Dallas! The coldest weather of the season is about to hit. We've already seen temperatures drop significantly. For instance, Fort Worth had a 30-degree drop, and Dallas wasn't far behind with a 27-degree dip. This cold spell is expected to continue with two more cold fronts on the way this week.
Don't worry, though, Wednesday is looking sunny and slightly warmer. But hold onto your hats, because a stronger cold front is coming on Thanksgiving night. Expect a cool, cloudy, and breezy Thanksgiving Day.
Friday might be the chilliest day with the first freeze of the season predicted for much of North Texas. Temperatures could drop as low as 20 degrees. And if that's not enough, another cold front is set to pass through late Saturday.
The good news is, no rain or icy weather is expected. This is great for travelers during the busiest Thanksgiving week ever at airports, according to the TSA.
So, grab your coats and get ready for a chilly Thanksgiving!
