Celebrities and Soldiers Team Up for a Good Cause

Celebrities and Special Forces soldiers came together for a special event called the Celebrity Green Beret Tactical Challenge. This event is not just about having fun; it's also about raising money to help soldiers and their families. The challenge included different activities like shooting, archery, and knot-tying. The celebrities got to learn from the soldiers, who are experts in these skills. Some of the celebrities had never even held a gun before, but they learned quickly with the help of their soldier partners. This year, 12 teams took part in the challenge. The celebrities included famous names like Randy Couture, a UFC champion, and Michael Ray, a country singer. They were paired with soldiers who have served in the Special Forces. One of the celebrities, Laura Zerra, has participated in the challenge for the fourth time. She said that even though she didn't train much this year, she enjoyed the experience. Another participant, Tony Saunders, said that the knot-tying challenge was tough, but he was happy to take part. He also shared that his family has a military background, which made the cause even more personal for him. The event also included a celebrity roast and awards dinner, where people could pay to attend and support the cause. The money raised goes to programs like Beyond the Battlefield, which helps with suicide prevention, and Mettle and Moxie, which offers family retreats.
