This competition might also change how people view ETFs, as they may no longer be seen as a stamp of approval from regulators. The success of spot Bitcoin ETFs has been impressive. Since their launch in January 2024, these products have accumulated around $58. 83 billion in net inflows. This shows the growing interest and confidence in crypto investments. However, it's important to note that the SEC should not be seen as a merit-based regulator in this regard. Investors should make their own choices based on their understanding and risk tolerance. The idea that an ETF automatically signals credibility might erode as the market matures.
