Disney+ is starting to use a new technology called HDR10+. This tech makes pictures look better by enhancing colors and brightness. However, not everyone can enjoy it just yet. At first, only about 1, 000 shows from Hulu will have this upgrade. Other shows under Disney+ might get it later, but no one knows when. Samsung, a big name in TVs, shared this news. They said that Disney+ will first offer HDR10+ on their Crystal UHD TVs from 2018 onwards. Some Samsung Smart Monitors will also support it. So, if you have an older TV, you might miss out on this upgrade. HDR10+ is an improvement over the standard HDR10. It's like a rival to Dolby Vision. Both of these technologies make pictures look more lifelike. They adjust the brightness and colors in each scene. But remember, you need a TV that supports these technologies to see the difference. So, what does this mean for viewers? Well, it's a step towards better picture quality. But it's not for everyone, at least not right now. It's also a way for Disney+ to stay competitive. They want to offer the best viewing experience. But will this be enough to keep viewers hooked? Only time will tell.
