A lot of commotion happened recently when Tyra, the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season two, made a nasty remark after the death of fellow Drag Race queen The Vivienne. James Lee Williams, known as The Vivienne, was a big name in the entertainment scene, winning the first ever Drag Race UK in 2019. Sadly, he passed away at the young age of 32. Many famous faces from the entertainment world, like Michelle Visage and Jinkx Monsoon, posted tributes to honor his memory. But Tyra, who was once known as King Tyra and Tyra Sanchez, took a different path. Tyra decided to repost an old tweet from The Vivienne. This tweet was from 2020 and was about Netflix spoiling a win. Tyra's comment on this old tweet was harsh and upset a lot of people. She wrote, "Yet it doesn’t compare to the fumes of the crematorium. " This comment was so upsetting that fans and celebrities didn't hold back in showing their disapproval. A two-time finalist of Drag Race, Kandy Muse, called Tyra a "disgusting person. " Other performers like Tatianna and drag queens from different seasons also expressed their shock and anger. Some fans even suggested that Tyra's season two title should be taken away. Tyra herself didn't seem to care much about the backlash. This isn't the first time Tyra has caused controversy. She has been involved in some serious legal issues and has been arrested multiple times in the past. Despite all this, Tyra doesn’t seem to change her behavior. She has even said she doesn't care if her Drag Race title is taken away.
