He believes that robots, like Tesla's Optimus, could one day eliminate poverty and provide top-notch medical care for everyone. Musk envisions a future where robots handle all the work, allowing people to enjoy a life of leisure. However, this idea isn't new. Back in the 1960s, people thought that by the year 2000, everyone would only need to work about 20 hours a week. But that didn't happen. The issue isn't technology; it's politics. Without a system that supports a leisure society, it's just a dream. Musk's view on poverty is questionable. He often criticizes homeless people, suggesting they are just drug addicts or mentally ill. In fact, most homeless people have jobs and struggle with housing costs.
