The Florida Gators football team is having a rough time lately. They just lost to Ole Miss, which means they won't be playing in any bowl games this season. This is the second time in three years that this has happened. Back in the day, from 1979 to 2013, the Gators always won at least six games each season. But things have changed since then. They've missed out on bowl games four times in the last decade. The first time was under coach Will Muschamp, then again in 2017 under Jim McElwain, and now twice under Billy Napier. This season has been especially tough. They went on a losing streak, ending with a 5-7 record. That's not great, especially since they didn't win any games away from home. The last time they had a season this bad was way back in 1953. Next up, they're playing Tennessee at home. The kickoff time isn't set yet, but fans are hoping for a better performance. It's been a while since the Gators had a season like this, and everyone's hoping for a turnaround.
