You might be surprised to hear this, but Volcano Bay, a popular water park at Universal Orlando Resort, is taking a break. Why? The weather isn't cooperating. On January 2nd and 3rd, the park will be closed due to chilly temperatures. It's not the first time this has happened. During the fall, the park shut down a few times because of the cooler weather in Central Florida. Just recently, it was closed on December 21-22.
What's the forecast like? Well, on January 2nd, Orlando is expected to reach a high of 67°F and a low of 44°F, with a small chance of rain. The next day, it might warm up a bit to 68°F. But, water parks usually need temperatures above 70°F to operate smoothly.
It's interesting how weather can impact our plans. Even in sunny Florida, cold snaps can cause disruptions. Have you ever had your plans changed by the weather? Let us know!
