The United States is cooking up a plan for Gaza. They want the United Nations to approve a two-year mission. This mission would bring in a new team to run Gaza and a group of international peacekeepers. The goal? To keep the peace and help rebuild the area.
The U. S. has shared this idea with some countries. But it's not ready for everyone to see yet. They are still working on the details. The plan is part of a bigger deal called the Trump plan. This deal already stopped the fighting between Israel and Hamas for a little while.
The peacekeepers, called the International Stabilization Force (ISF), would have a big job. They would protect people and help with aid. They would also work to make sure no one is armed who shouldn't be. The ISF would train a new police force in Gaza. This force would help keep the area safe.
But there are some big questions. Will other countries send troops to help? Israel doesn't want troops from Turkey. And will Hamas agree to give up their weapons? They haven't said yes yet. The U. S. is talking to countries like Indonesia, the UAE, and Egypt about helping out.
Money is also a big part of the plan. The U. S. wants the World Bank and other groups to help pay for rebuilding Gaza. They want to set up a special fund for this. But it's not clear when the U. N. will vote on this plan. It needs support from many countries to pass.
