Greenville is buzzing with new spots and events to check out. The Judson Mill District is kicking off a holiday market inspired by "The Polar Express. " Every Thursday to Saturday, from November 6 to December 20, you can find festive decorations, local vendors, and fun activities inside the Annex Building. There's something for everyone, from handmade gifts to tasty treats. Don't miss the train-themed photo ops and hot cocoa to support Hollis Academy. The market is free to enter, and parking is available on-site. Judson Mill District is also getting a new indoor golf club called Kenny's Golf Club. It's set to open soon and will feature advanced simulator technology, lessons, and more. The district is already home to restaurants, a play café, and climbing facilities. Parents can even drop off their kids at the play café while they shop or dine. Over at The Cliffs at Mountain Park, a new sports pavilion has opened. It's designed to blend with nature and offers a pool, splash pad, tennis, pickleball, and padel courts. There's also a dining area, amphitheater, dog park, and playground. The pavilion is part of a larger community that includes golf courses, wellness centers, and more. The BMW Charity Pro-Am recently celebrated its volunteers with a special golf invitational. The event honored Nancy Smith for her 25 years of service. The tournament has raised over $17 million for South Carolina charities since 2001. In other news, Joseph Barnes has been appointed Director of Development at the Hartness community. He brings decades of experience in architecture and real estate projects. Countybank has also promoted Peggy Chamblee to Senior Vice President and Brandy Poore to Mortgage Loan Officer. First Presbyterian Church will host a community prayer service called ONE Prayer 2025 on November 16. The Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce Women's Impact Network will meet on November 4, featuring MTC Federal Credit Union and Center for Community Services. The South Carolina Conservation Coalition will host an event on November 6 to discuss conservation efforts in the Upstate.
