This film is a co-production involving several international studios. It features a mysterious clown-doll entity and is directed by Charles Gozali. The cast includes Marthino Lio, Dayinta Melira, Clara Bernadeth, and Derby Romero. Linda Gozali, another producer, described "Badut Gendong" as a natural extension of the "Qodrat" universe, aiming to build a more immersive story while keeping the emotional depth that fans love. Magma Entertainment was founded in 2003 by siblings Charles and Linda Gozali. Their father, the late Hendrick Gozali, was a pioneer in the Indonesian film industry.
