Juan Kreutz Takes the Helm at SMBC Americas

Juan Kreutz, known as JC, has been appointed to a big role at SMBC Americas. He is now the head of Structured Finance Solutions and the Deputy Head for the Americas region. JC will be in charge of many financial areas. These include project finance, real estate finance, and global trade finance. He will also oversee business in Latin America. JC has been with SMBC for over 10 years. During this time, he helped the bank grow in project finance and advisory services. He also expanded the bank's presence in Latin America. Hirofumi Otsuka, the CEO of SMBC Americas, praised JC's work. He said JC will help the bank evolve and serve clients better. Before this role, JC was the General Manager of Global Structured Finance. He managed several industry groups in North and South America. These included power, infrastructure, and real estate finance. JC has a lot of experience in finance. He worked at BBVA Securities, Barclays, and other big banks. He also has degrees from Georgetown University and NYU. JC is taking over from Carl Adams, who retired after 12 years at the bank.
