President Kamala Harris, portrayed by Maya Rudolph, held a lively campaign rally, while Donald Trump and JD Vance struggled to keep their supporters engaged at theirs. Rudolph's performance as Harris was a nod to her previous role as then-California senator Kamala Harris, which she first played five years ago. This time, she had a running mate of her own, Tim Walz, played by comedian Jim Gaffigan. Walz's humorous remarks included a reference to a 10% rebate on a leaf blower and his need for the money as a former teacher. Meanwhile, at the Trump rally, the former president, played by James Austin Johnson, grew increasingly frustrated as people began to leave. He lamented the fact that he no longer had President Joe Biden by his side and wished they could be old together. Trump also brought up the debunked notion that pets are being eaten by immigrants and welcomed JD Vance, played by Bowen Yang, to explain the conspiracy theory. Vance is known for spreading lies about it despite having no evidence to support his claims. The sketch ended with President Joe Biden, played by Dana Carvey, appearing on stage to close the rally. Harris welcomed him with a pledge to voters, promising that if they win, they can end the drama and trauma and relax in their pajamas.
