LeBron James is back in the NBA All-Star Game for the 21st time, setting a new record. Giannis Antetokounmpo is also returning, this time with the most fan votes for the second year in a row. The starters were chosen through a mix of fan, media, and player voting. In the East, Jalen Brunson and Donovan Mitchell are the guards, while Jayson Tatum, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Giannis make up the frontcourt. In the West, Stephen Curry and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are the guards, with Kevin Durant and Nikola Jokic joining LeBron in the frontcourt. The game is changing this year, with three teams of eight players each being drafted by NBA legends. The new format includes a tournament with two semifinals and a championship game. The games will be quick, with the first team to 40 points winning. LeBron is now the third player to be selected after turning 40, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dirk Nowitzki. This year's All-Star Game could be another high-scoring affair, following last year's record of 211-186.
