LeBron James Gets Free Golf Perks From Cleveland and Philly Clubs

LeBron James is known for his basketball skills, but lately, he has been talking a lot about another passion: golf. Over the past year, he has mentioned how much he enjoys the game and even said it might play a role in where he decides to play next. But no matter where he lands, he will not have to pay for a good swing. Several golf clubs in Cleveland and Philadelphia are ready to roll out the red carpet for the NBA star.

Jim Basar, who owns West Bank Golf Club near the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, said LeBron can use the club for free whenever he wants. "LeBron James is welcome for free any day, anytime… his membership is on us," Basar said.

Steve Pacino, owner of 18Lab Golf in Cleveland, also offered to give LeBron his own private space and free lessons with a pro named Jeff. "We would love to have LeBron in… we could give him his own private bay and free instruction with our pro, Jeff," Pacino said.

In Philadelphia, Robert Kram, the CEO of The Sporting Club at The Bellevue, said they are ready to help LeBron with all his fitness and golf needs. "The Sporting Club at The Bellevue is willing to partner with LeBron for all of his fitness and golf needs. If we could do anything to get LeBron to the Sixers, we would do whatever it takes," Kram said.

Kram has worked with LeBron before. He used to be the director of fitness at a club where LeBron worked out during his time with the Miami Heat. That past connection might make the offer even more appealing.

Even though LeBron is a billionaire, these local businesses still want to show their support. They know that having a player of his level could bring a lot of attention to their clubs. Plus, they just want to help someone who loves the game as much as they do.

LeBron has also been building his own golf simulators and putting greens in Akron for local kids who love golf but do not have the resources to practice. So whether he ends up in Cleveland, Philadelphia, or somewhere else, his love for the game will continue to grow.
