This Saturday night, the LSU Tigers are back in action at their historic Tiger Stadium. The team is gearing up to face the Ole Miss Rebels after a week off. Ole Miss, fresh off a win against South Carolina, is aiming to give the Tigers a tough fight. This game is special for LSU as it’s their homecoming event, and they will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers are looking for revenge after last year's high-scoring loss to the Rebels in Oxford. Coach Brian Kelly has been working with the defense to counter Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart and their powerful offense. Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is leading the SEC in passing touchdowns with 15, averaging 330. 4 yards per game.
Freshman running back Caden Durham is expected to play despite a recent injury. Durham has been consistent, with 244 yards and 3 touchdowns on 29 carries. The Tigers are 4-1 this season and undefeated in SEC play. The Rebels are 5-1 with a 1-1 conference record.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 P. M. in the legendary Death Valley. Fans can catch the game on WBRZ.
