Manchester United is on the hunt for a new striker this winter, and many names have been thrown into the mix. Paris Saint-Germain's Randal Kolo Muani was one of the rumored targets, but according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, the deal isn't hot right now. The French international has reportedly lost his spot in the PSG lineup under Luis Enrique, but a loan move to Old Trafford isn't on the table yet. Manager Ruben Amorim is looking to boost the team's scoring power after struggling this season. Besides Kolo Muani, several other players are being considered. One of them is Christopher Nkunku, who currently plays for Chelsea. There's also talk of bringing Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres from Portugal, although that deal seems unlikely. Marcus Rashford wore the number nine shirt in Amorim's debut game and scored quickly, but he wasn't a major player throughout the match. Joshua Zirkzee is another option on the squad, but the Dutch forward isn't happy and might leave in January. This opens the door for a new arrival.
