The eagerly awaited trailer for "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" has finally dropped, and it's packed with excitement! This sequel is set to take Mario and his crew on an interstellar journey, much like the beloved 2007 video game.
The story kicks off with Mario and Luigi teasing a tiny Bowser, who's still feeling the effects of a Mini Mushroom from the first movie. Things heat up when Bowser tries to win over Princess Peach with a romantic painting, but Mario isn't having it. Suddenly, shooting stars light up the sky, and the gang heads off to explore different planets, including a water world and a desert planet with upside-down pyramids.
Fans will be thrilled to see Bowser Jr. back in action, this time wielding a magical paintbrush that turns him into a metal flail. And let's not forget Rosalina, voiced by the talented Brie Larson, who takes on a spider-like robot all by herself. The cast from the first movie is back, including Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Jack Black as Bowser.
"The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" is based on the critically acclaimed game, which is considered one of the best in the Mario series. The game follows Mario as he travels through space to collect Power Stars and rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. With the first movie grossing over $1. 3 billion worldwide, expectations are high for this sequel.
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, with a script by Matthew Fogel, "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" is set to hit theaters in April 2026. Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure!
