New Jersey is in for a rollercoaster of weather this week. It all starts Sunday night with a powerful cold front. This front is expected to bring strong thunderstorms and winds that could gust up to 60 mph. The National Weather Service says these storms will hit between 10 p. m. Sunday and 3 a. m. Monday. With winds that strong, there's a good chance of tree limbs and power lines coming down. There's even a small chance of a tornado, though it's not very likely. Rainfall could add up to an inch, with some areas getting even more. After the storm, temperatures will drop significantly. Monday's highs will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Sunday's. But don't expect the weather to settle down for long. Another cold front is expected Tuesday night into early Wednesday, bringing more light showers and gusty winds. By Thursday and Friday, things should calm down. The weather is expected to be mostly dry, with temperatures near or slightly below normal for this time of year. So, if you're in New Jersey, be prepared for a wild ride of weather changes this week.
