Chronic pain is a common problem for breast cancer survivors. It's important to understand that physical, psychological, and social factors all play a role in pain management. To tackle this issue effectively, healthcare professionals need to work together and use different approaches. That's why we created an online learning program to boost awareness and teamwork among these professionals. We wanted to see how well our program was used, how it worked, and what effects it had, so we conducted a realist evaluation.
Breast cancer survivors often face chronic pain, and managing it requires a team effort. Professionals need to learn new skills and ways to collaborate. Our e-learning program was designed to help with this. We wanted to know if the program was actually used, how it encouraged teamwork, and if it made a difference.
A realist evaluation is a way to figure out how a program works in real life. It helps us understand the steps that lead to certain results. In this case, we wanted to see if our e-learning program actually helped professionals work together better and improved pain management for survivors.
