Pine's annual Holiday Dazzle event was a hit, with over 2, 000 people showing up to enjoy the festivities. The event, held at the Pine Community Center, was packed with fun activities for all ages. From train rides to horse-drawn carriage rides, there was something for everyone. The outside of the community center was decorated with a festive tunnel of lights and other decorations from Enchanted Lights Pittsburgh. Inside, there were ice carving demonstrations and plenty of seasonal cheer.
Guests had a variety of food options to choose from, with local food trucks and vendors on site. There were also children's activity booths and animal visitors, including live reindeer and a capybara. The inside of the community center was lined with decorated trees, each representing a different charity. Attendees could vote for their favorite tree, with the proceeds going to the corresponding charity. The voting period will last until the end of the year.
Kids had a blast crafting, bouncing, decorating cookies, and exploring the impressive train display put on by the Pittsburgh Hi-Railers. The event ended with the lighting of the Dazzle Tree and a fireworks display. The success of the event shows the strong sense of community in Pine. The festive cheer continued the next day with Pine's Carols, Crafts and Cocoa event. Attendees enjoyed classic carols performed by the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus, holiday crafts, face painting, games, and early Christmas shopping with local vendors.
The event was a great way to bring the community together and celebrate the holiday season. The positive feedback from attendees shows that the event was a success. The organizers are grateful to the sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and everyone who helped make it all possible.
