Google is giving older Pixel phones a new feature called the "Device health & support" dashboard. This is not just another update; it's a big change from the old "Tips & support" page in the settings. Think of it as a health check-up for your phone, all in one place.
This feature first showed up on the Pixel 10 series and is now coming to Pixel 6 to Pixel 9 phones with the November 2025 Feature Drop. Not all options will be available on every phone, but you'll see a "Need help with your Pixel" option at the top. This is like a chatbot that can guide you through any issues.
The dashboard gives a quick look at your phone's health. If everything is good, you'll see a green checkmark with a message saying your Pixel is in great shape. If there are issues, you might see a yellow exclamation mark, especially if there's a pending update.
You'll also find different sections like Battery health, Device temperature, Storage, Software update, and more. Some users have reported seeing only a few options, like Device temperature, Storage, and Software updates, on their Pixel 7 Pro. This might be because their phone hasn't received the latest update yet.
To make sure everything works smoothly, it's a good idea to keep the Device Health Services and Settings Services up-to-date. You can do this by going to the Settings app, then your name at the top, and then All services. From there, go to Privacy & security and then System services.
This new dashboard is a step towards making it easier for users to understand and manage their phone's health. It's a simple but useful addition that can help keep your Pixel running smoothly.
