Once upon a time, former President Donald Trump's fascination with his predecessor, Barack Obama, took an unexpected turn. In an intriguing story from Michael Cohen's book "Disloyal," Trump reportedly hired an actor to imitate Obama, just so he could dismiss him in a mock-firing video. This wasn't just any video; it was designed to mimic Trump's stint on "The Apprentice," where his famous catchphrase "You're fired! " resonated.
Apparently, this stunt was created to humiliate Obama, the first Black president of the U. S. It wasn't meant to be seen by the public but was later leaked and resurfaced online. This wasn't the only instance of Trump's disdain for Obama and other Black leaders. Cohen's book hints at a deeper animosity, with Trump allegedly questioning Mandela's leadership and even suggesting that Obama's Harvard education was thanks to affirmative action.
The Nelson Mandela Foundation responded to these claims, noting that leaders who behave like Trump shouldn’t comment on Mandela. Trump's alleged opinions on minorities go further. Cohen writes that Trump believed they were "too stupid to vote for Trump. " While Trump's team denies these claims, saying Cohen is not credible due to his legal history, these revelations offer a glimpse into Trump's mindset.
