A custom Fiat 126B from Poland just won the 2025 Hot Wheels Legends Tour. This isn't just any car—it's a tiny rally beast with big dreams. Paweł Czarnecki built it to tackle imaginary rally stages in the Carpathian Mountains. Over 2, 500 hours of work went into this car, with another 800 hours spent on 3D printing parts. It's got a widened body, a flip-forward hood, and serious rally-inspired aerodynamics.
Under the hood, this Fiat packs a punch. It's powered by a Fiat Uno 1. 4 Turbo engine, tweaked to produce 200 horsepower. The car also features a Nissan 200SX GT28 turbocharger and a built Fiat Punto GT gearbox. It's built for both asphalt and gravel, making it a true rally contender. The judges loved its blend of historical inspiration and modern fabrication, calling it a perfect example of the "Garage Spirit. "
The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is a big deal. It's the world's largest traveling car show, visiting 16 countries this year. The tour stopped in places like the U. S. , Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Each region had its own final, with the top three moving on to the Global Grand Finale. This year, the finale was hosted by motorsports ambassador Jarod DeAnda and featured a panel of judges, including Jay Leno and other car enthusiasts.
The competition was fierce. U. S. regional finalist Clint DeVine brought a 1990 Chevy S10 with a striking patina and western-style hauler bed. LATAM regional finalist Jesus Daniel Payan Gastelum showcased a VW Beetle converted into an off-road pickup truck. But in the end, Paweł Czarnecki's Fiat 126B took the crown. It will now be immortalized as a Hot Wheels die-cast collectible, joining other legendary cars in the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends™.
Since its start in 2018, the Hot Wheels Legends Tour has grown from small Walmart events to a global phenomenon. It's a celebration of creativity and the automotive community, attracting millions of fans worldwide. The tour has featured some incredible builds, from the 2018-winning 2JetZ™ to last year's 1968 custom-built Ford Falcon nicknamed "La Liebre. "
