Quavo and his team at Quavo Cares hosted their second Huncho Farms event in Atlanta, partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the city council. This year, they aimed to support seniors raising grandchildren in food-scarce communities. The event was like a big market, with tents filled with fresh food, music, and holiday fun for 500 families. They even gave out a special cookbook with easy, healthy recipes. After last year's success, Quavo wanted to bring a local farmers market feel to this event. He showed up with Atlanta Councilwoman Andrea Boone and other community leaders. Councilwoman Boone was happy Quavo chose their neighborhood, as it's a food desert where many grandparents raise their grandkids. She said the event would help many people have a nice holiday dinner. Quavo Cares has done a lot for communities facing food insecurity. They've worked with Walmart, Feeding America, and local churches to help families from different counties. They even got a big grant to support single Black mothers.
