Rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, has been arrested on serious charges. He's accused of planning a murder in Los Angeles back in 2022. The target was reportedly fellow rapper Quando Rondo, whose cousin was killed in a shooting. This all started after a feud between the two rappers. Lil Durk was trying to leave the country when he was caught at Miami International Airport. He's charged with conspiracy to use interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire. This case is being handled by U. S. District Attorney Martin Estrada, who calls the crime "cold-blooded" and dangerous to the community. Five members of Lil Durk's rap collective, Only the Family (OTF), were also arrested. They're believed to have worked under his direction. The group allegedly stalked and shot at Quando Rondo's cousin at a busy gas station. The feud began when an associate of Quando Rondo killed a member of Lil Durk's collective. In response, Lil Durk reportedly put a bounty on Quando Rondo's life. Records show that plane tickets were bought for the day before the shooting. Lil Durk and one of his associates traveled to California on a private jet. They allegedly bought ski masks and paid for a hotel room with a card in Lil Durk's name. On the day of the shooting, the group used two vehicles to track and shoot at Quando Rondo's cousin. Lil Durk appeared in a Florida court and will soon be arraigned in Los Angeles. The five OTF members also faced initial court appearances in Illinois and will be arraigned in Los Angeles soon. They each face multiple charges, including the use of firearms in a crime of violence.
