The Trump Administration has taken dramatic steps to transform the upper ranks of the FBI, making the agency seem more like a revolving door than a stable institution. Some definitely saw it coming. There had been some leaks. A senior agent found out that they would be fired immediately. The confirmation of their removal was sent to them via email. This firestorm is coming on the heels of earlier reshuffling at the top echelon just recently. All these panicky removals were all occurring in an unprecedented timeline. Wait… there's more. Suddenly Patel is making the rounds, hosting Senate confirmation hearings and meeting with senators. But while it might appear there is a controversy going on it seems as if it is all just politics. How can someone reassure and then not be honest? Why would they say one thing and do another?
