Russia is making a lot of glide bombs. A high-ranking Ukrainian intelligence officer said they plan to make up to 120, 000 this year. This includes 500 new types that can go really far, up to 200 kilometers. That's a big deal because these bombs are cheap and can cause a lot of damage. These glide bombs are different from regular bombs. They have wings and sometimes engines, so they can fly far and hit targets without planes getting shot down. They're also cheaper than missiles and can destroy buildings and fortifications. Cities like Kharkiv and Kherson have seen a lot of damage from these bombs. Russia is also working on making these bombs even better. They want to make some that can fly up to 400 kilometers. This would let them hit more places in Ukraine without using missiles. The bombs have already shown they can reach far, like in attacks on Mykolaiv, Poltava, and Odesa regions. Russia isn't just making more bombs. They're also making a lot of drones. The officer said they plan to make about 70, 000 long-range drones in 2025, including 30, 000 Shahed drones. These drones are used to attack Ukraine's energy system, especially during winter. The officer also talked about North Korea. They've been helping Russia by sending millions of artillery shells. But the number of shells has gone down this year. North Korea is also making their own drones now. They're learning from the war to improve their own weapons. Russia's goal is to put a lot of pressure on Ukraine. They want to force Ukraine into peace talks on their terms. The officer said Russia wants to capture Pokrovsk and then move towards Donetsk region. This is a big concern for Ukraine.
