Heather Boyd, 37, thought she had the perfect life. A husband, four kids, and a steady job as a certified nursing assistant. For six years, she kept it hidden from everyone, including her mother-in-law who lived with them.

Boyd told Fox News Digital that her side hustle started by accident. After struggling with her body image following her last pregnancy, her husband suggested they start an X account just for fun. One post went viral overnight, racking up over 1,000 likes. That’s when Boyd took over the account and started posting for free.

A referral link to an adult-content platform soon followed. Boyd was curious. "What if we could actually make a little money off this?" she said. Her first lingerie video earned her $100 almost immediately. In her best month, she made around $5,000.

But success came at a cost. Boyd admitted she was eventually fired from her corporate job because of the adult content. She saw it coming but never wanted it to happen. The fallout is now part of TLC’s new reality series, "Double Lives of Suburban Wives," which follows six St. Louis-area couples juggling family, careers, and unconventional income streams.

To protect their kids, Boyd and her husband kept the content business in a locked room. Their children believed it was just her office for corporate work. "That’s your mom’s office," they were told. "You can’t go in there." But as the series reveals, Boyd is now questioning whether the life she built still matches who she has become.
