Shady Ave Magazine, a well-known lifestyle magazine based in Pittsburgh, is switching hands. Table Media Inc. is taking over from Trib Total Media, who have been running the show since 2022. The change is expected to wrap up by December 1st, and the first issue under the new management will hit the stands in Spring 2026. Table Media has big plans. They've hired Sean Collier, a seasoned journalist from Pittsburgh, to be the new editor-in-chief. Collier has a solid background, having previously managed Pittsburgh Magazine. Justin Matase, publisher of TABLE Magazine and co-owner of Table Media, is thrilled about the acquisition. He wants to focus on the people and events that make the East End of Pittsburgh so lively. Jennifer Bertetto, the head of Trib Total Media, is also happy about the deal. She thinks Table Media is the best in the business when it comes to lifestyle publishing in Pittsburgh. She's confident that Shady Ave will continue to thrive under the new ownership. Shady Ave won't be slowing down. They plan to keep publishing five print editions every year. But they're also expanding their online presence. Daily updates, social media coverage, and a new website, shadyave. com, are all in the works. Plus, there's a community relaunch event planned for early 2026.
