Silver Valley Sports Wrap: Jan 13-19

The week started with Kellogg boys' basketball taking a win over Wallace, 55-34. Draeden Taylor scored 29 points, leading the team to victory. On the same day, Lake City JV girls won against Mullan, 57-23, with Macie Zimmerman scoring 18 points. The Wallace girls beat Clark Fork, 52-18, and the Mullan boys lost to St. Regis, 38-31. The next day, Wallace boys won big against Coeur du Christ, 80-49, and the Mullan boys lost a close one to Timberlake C, 39-38. The Wallace girls kept their winning streak, defeating Genesis Prep, 31-29. Kellogg girls faced a loss against Priest River, 41-24, with Desi Humphrey scoring 23 points for Priest River. The Kellogg boys lost to St. Maries, 56-48, but bounced back with a win over Genesis Prep, 69-44. In wrestling, Kellogg beat St. Maries, 43-28, and had several wrestlers excel at the Clearwater Classic.
