Six Fashion Stocks Investors Are Watching Closely

United StatesTue Nov 03 2026

Retail stocks are having a good run while tech names stumble. The retail fund (XRT) climbed about 10% this quarter, but the tech sector fund (XLK) dropped around 11%. Falling interest rates could give apparel firms a boost ahead of the holiday shopping rush. A well‑known investor says six fashion stocks that seem like solid bets right now.

Ralph Lauren tops the list. The brand keeps growing under its CEO, especially in women’s wear, accessories and outerwear, and it’s expanding in Asia. After a dip in August and September, the stock has bounced back and the next earnings release is set for Thursday morning. Tapestry, which owns Coach and Kate Spade, also reports Thursday. Coach appeals to younger women and sits in the accessible‑luxury niche. Shares have dropped about 20% since the August earnings warning, but the upcoming report could signal a comeback. Levi’s had a rough patch too. The stock fell below $20 after a weak earnings outing, but the CEO says the company quickly fixed inventory gaps in popular styles. Since then the share price has risen more than 20% and it now trades around 14 times earnings with a 2.8% dividend.

VF Corp, the owner of The North Face, Vans and Timberland, is showing signs of life after years of trouble. A recent teen survey and a solid quarterly report suggest Vans is gaining traction, and the stock is up roughly 14% since the recommendation. Kontoor Brands is another denim play. It plans to sell the Lee brand for up to $1 billion, letting it focus on Wrangler and Helly Hansen. The deal should free cash for big share buybacks, and the remaining businesses look ready to grow. The stock sits near 14 times earnings and offers a dividend close to 3%. Reformation rounds out the list. The label has been gaining momentum in sustainable fashion, and its recent collections have been well‑received by shoppers looking for eco‑friendly options.
