Snow Squalls Today, Penguin-like Temperatures Tonight

Brace yourselves, Colorado! Winter decided to stick around just a bit longer. It is officially turning into the wrath of icy winds. Imagine this today, todays climate will be like "a day at the beach" as we call it. It will be windy but it is a wind some love, a snowy breeze with flurries whirling everywhere, for a new 1 inch for Colorado Springs and Pueblo and they are expecting heat. However we need to watch out for this. Imagine if you left your water hose on, it would be icy windchill of 5 to 10 below zero throughout the day. Are you a fan of the frosty temperatures? Then tonight is the adventure for you. It is turning to become a clear night and be prepared to follow the regulations of the weather outside. It will be dropping temperatures and feel like 30 or 40 below zero wind chill. But doesn't it seem worse? Imagine a year ago this same time you felt 40 below, remember todays 32 feels like a heat wave, but what we must realize is that the days in between of 2-5 or 20- below is the hero. The freezing will continue into Thursday with a rising temperature and sunny skies, making for a comfortable day. It will be nice and cold. But, have you seen the temperature jump from the 30s to 40s? Yet it is nice cool. The weather is expected to be warmer after the cold nights in wait. It will be more rain and snow is coming into the Friday night and also a mix of rain and snow showers Friday. So keep those jackets and rain gear at hand! By the end of Friday, temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-50s. The weather is getting nice.
