A fresh round of snow is on its way to many parts of the United States. This could make things tricky for people trying to get home after Thanksgiving. The weather is turning cold, and that means snow, sleet, and rain might mix together to create messy conditions. Some places could see up to six inches of snow by Tuesday. This could cause delays on roads and in the air. Just this past weekend, a previous snowstorm already brought over a foot of snow to parts of the Midwest. That led to thousands of flights being canceled. As of Sunday morning, more than 560 flights were already canceled. Airports in Chicago, Detroit, Denver, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Kansas City are expected to see big delays. The snow might even freeze overnight, making roads slippery and dangerous. Experts are warning people to be ready for travel problems. They say the cold weather and snow will stick around for a while. This could mean more snowstorms in the coming weeks. The snowstorm is expected to hit states like Kansas, Nebraska, and parts of the East Coast. Places like Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and New England could see one to six inches of snow. The Central Plains and Great Lakes regions might also see some snow. The cold weather is going to stick around for a few weeks. This could make conditions right for more snow. Experts are already keeping an eye on at least two more potential storms in the first half of December.
