Early Wednesday morning, a 19-year-old woman named Mackenzie Miller drove a green Mini Cooper into a picture frame shop on North Lake Drive in Lexington, South Carolina. This shocking event happened around 5 a. m. When police arrived, they found open beer containers in the car, but Miller wasn't at the scene. An officer spotted her nearby, bleeding from her leg and without pants. She admitted to being involved in the crash but claimed her friend was driving. However, Miller's bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and her rating herself a "4 or 5" on a drunkenness scale from one to ten hinted at her own intoxication. She later confessed to drinking two Truly hard seltzers and two rum and cokes at her apartment. Miller was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and cited for an open container of beer or wine.
