The Best Business Class Seat in the Sky for 2025

Qatar Airways has been named the best airline for business class travel in 2025, thanks to its innovative Qsuite. This seat is special because it lets passengers work together or have some privacy when they need to rest. The Qsuite is not available on all flights, so travelers need to check if it's on their route. The Skytrax World Airline Awards also recognized other airlines for different categories. Turkish Airlines won for the best food, Air Canada's Toronto Pearson Signature Suite won for the best lounge dining, and Hainan Airlines won for the best onboard amenities. Regional awards went to Ethiopian Airlines in Africa, Air India in India and South Asia, and LATAM in South America. Qatar Airways announced an upgrade to the Qsuite at the Farnborough International Airshow in 2024. The new Qsuite Next Gen will be available on the airline's 777Xs by 2025. However, ongoing delays with the 777X have caused some disruptions to these plans. Not all of Qatar Airways' planes have the Qsuite. It's available on all of their Airbus A350-1000s and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, but only on some of their other aircraft. Passengers should double-check their booking to make sure they'll have access to the Qsuite. One traveler, Tatenda Karuwa, tested the Qsuite on a flight from Bangkok to Doha. He found the seat comfortable and the food delicious. He also praised the friendly and attentive cabin crew. He concluded that the Qsuite experience was worth the upgrade and that he's excited to try the Qsuite Next Gen in the future. Qatar Airways faces strong competition from Japanese airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines. ANA recently announced a new business class product called 'THE Room FX', which is a supersized seat designed for comfortable lounging. It's unclear where ANA will deploy this new product, but it's likely to be on their premium-heavy routes.
