Theme parks are like sports teams, and every year, there's a big report that shows which ones are scoring the most points. The report is called the TEA Experience Index, and it counts how many people visit the top theme parks around the world. Disney is like the superstar team, winning most of the matches. In 2024, Disney had eight of the top 10 theme parks globally and all of the top five in America. Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World was the most visited park, and Disneyland was right behind it. But there's a new player in town, and it's called Epic Universe. Universal Orlando opened this massive new park to challenge Disney's lead. However, Universal's other parks in Orlando saw fewer visitors in 2024. It seems like many fans were waiting for Epic Universe to open before visiting again. Meanwhile, there's another competition happening at the lower end of the list. Six Flags and Cedar Fair merged last year to form a new company, and their parks are now taking up more spots on the list. Knott's Berry Farm even kicked SeaWorld Orlando out of the top 10. Another company, Herschend, made its debut in the top 20 with Dollywood. They recently bought more parks, which could help them climb even higher next year. It's all up to the fans to decide who comes out on top in this theme park showdown.
