Donald Trump recently took to his social media platform to criticize Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. He called Walz "seriously r------d" and said he is not doing enough about crime and immigration in the state. Trump believes that immigration is a big problem in the U. S. He thinks it leads to more crime and puts a strain on public services. He pointed to Minnesota as an example, saying that Somali gangs are causing trouble there.
Trump also talked about the 53 million foreign-born people living in the U. S. He claimed that many of them are on welfare and come from troubled places. He said that a migrant with a green card and a $30, 000 job gets about $50, 000 in benefits for their family each year. Trump blames these issues on the country's immigration policies.
He specifically mentioned Minnesota again, saying that hundreds of thousands of Somali refugees are taking over the state. He accused Governor Walz of not doing anything about it. Trump also targeted Rep. Ilhan Omar, calling her the "worst congressman/woman" in the country. He criticized her for complaining about the U. S. and not appreciating it.
Governor Walz responded to Trump's post on X, writing, "Release the MRI results. " This seems to be a joke about Trump's age and mental state. Rep. Omar did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
These comments come after a recent shooting in Washington, D. C. The suspect in that case is an Afghan national who worked with a CIA-operated unit. The White House, Governor Walz, and Rep. Omar did not comment on Trump's post.
