Turkey and Egypt are planning to have a big talk about Gaza. Their foreign ministers will meet in Ankara to discuss the ceasefire and what comes next. Turkey has been very vocal against Israel's actions in Gaza, even calling it a genocide. Israel, of course, disagrees.
Turkey, along with Egypt and Qatar, has been helping to keep the peace in Gaza. They want to make sure everyone follows the rules of the ceasefire. Turkey's foreign minister, Hakan Fidan, will host Egypt's Badr Abdelatty. They will talk about the ceasefire and how to rebuild Gaza after the war.
Both Israel and Hamas have accused each other of breaking the ceasefire. Israel says Hamas is not returning hostage remains, while Hamas says Israel is blocking aid. Turkey wants to be part of the team that monitors the ceasefire, but Israel is not happy about that.
Turkey and Egypt will also start a new group to plan high-level talks for next year. Turkey has praised Egypt for helping with humanitarian aid to Gaza. They have sent a lot of aid and offered to help find the bodies of Israeli hostages.
Earlier this month, seven Muslim countries met in Istanbul to talk about Gaza, but Egypt was not there. Fidan also talked with U. S. officials about Syria and Gaza. They discussed what might happen next with the ceasefire.
