Ukraine's Zelensky Talks Peace and Challenges

Ukraine's President Zelensky is in Ireland, talking about peace with Russia. He met with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin. Zelensky said peace talks are tricky. He wants clear security promises from the US and Europe. He also wants Russia's frozen money in Europe to help Ukraine. Zelensky said peace talks are not easy. He wants to make sure Russia does not start the war again. He said Ukraine will not accept a bad peace deal. He wants a fair and open process. Zelensky also talked about the war in Pokrovsk. He said it is too early to say if Russia controls the city. He warned that Russia might use talks to weaken sanctions. Zelensky thanked Ireland for supporting Ukraine. He said Ireland has taken in many Ukrainian refugees. He hopes Ireland will help hold Russia accountable for the war. Zelensky said now is a good time for peace. But he said some things still need to be worked out. He said the US is taking steps to end the war. He also said Ukraine wants to join the EU soon. Prime Minister Martin welcomed Zelensky to Ireland.
