Unraveling Uncertainty: A Fresh Look at Data Clustering with IoT

Clustering data that's uncertain is a big deal in the Internet of Things. One way to do this is by using possible world-based algorithms. But these algorithms have two main problems. First, they treat all possible worlds equally, even the oddball ones that can mess things up. Second, they don't use the consistency between possible worlds well enough. They just cluster or build an affinity matrix for each world independently. To fix this, a new algorithm called Representative Possible World Consistent Clustering (RPC) is proposed. It uses a strategy to pick the best possible worlds and avoids the weird ones. It also adds consistency learning to spectral clustering, making it work better with these chosen worlds. Tests show that this new algorithm works better than the best ones out there. It's a step forward in making sense of uncertain data.
