Weekend Football Wins and Losses

This past Saturday saw some exciting football games. St. Cloud Cathedral beat Redwood Valley 49 to 27. Henry Schloe had a great game, throwing for four touchdowns. Three of those went to Nick Plante, who also threw a touchdown pass of his own. Alexandria had a big win against Sauk Rapids-Rice, scoring 56 points to their 20. ROCORI beat Willmar by just two points, 17 to 15. Albany shut out New London-Spicer with a score of 41 to 0. Cohen Habben had a strong game, with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Holdingford defeated Staples-Motley 41 to 0. Jaxon Bartkowicz had an impressive performance, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for one more. Becker won against Princeton 14 to 7, with Tristen Kowalkowski scoring two touchdowns. Eden-Valley-Watkins beat Kimball 30 to 0. Holy Family had a close game against Dassel-Cokato, winning 35 to 32. Annandale had a big win against Pine City, scoring 66 points to zero. Foley also had a shutout against Spectrum, winning 35 to 0. Litchfield beat Melrose 56 to 35.
