Former daytime talk show host Wendy Williams, 60, recently attended her son Kevin Hunter Jr. 's college graduation in a touching family event. Dressed in a sparkly outfit and using a red electric wheelchair, Williams was spotted at Florida International University's commencement ceremony. She was joined by her father, Thomas Williams Sr. , 93, and her sister, Wanda Finnie. This rare public appearance comes as Williams battles early-onset dementia, diagnosed in 2023. Kevin, 24, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from FIU's Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. He started his college journey at Barry University before transferring to FIU. Notably, Kevin took breaks from school in 2021 and 2022 to care for his mother. During the ceremony, Williams showed her pride and emotion, wiping away tears as her son received his diploma. After the event, she was protected by armed police officers as she left and got into a waiting vehicle. Kevin was seen greeting one of the officers. Just last weekend, Williams was spotted smiling in Fort Lauderdale, picking up an order from Sho’nuff Oysters, accompanied by her nephew Travis Finnie. This sighting came after Morrissey, Williams' legal guardian, reported that the TV personality is "cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated" due to her dementia.
