Kids in hospitals sometimes have heartbeats that are too slow. This can lead to serious trouble. Doctors have been trying different things to help. But, there's still a lot they don't know. A big look at past studies was done. They wanted to see what works best for kids with slow heartbeats and other problems. They looked at lots of old studies. Out of 5, 392, only 27 were useful. Most of these studies showed that kids who got CPR and other help did better. They were more likely to survive than kids who got help for a different heart problem. But, some studies said that a certain medicine, epinephrine, might not always help. In fact, it might make things worse sometimes. Some kids got another medicine, atropine. But, it's not clear if this helped or not. No studies looked at giving oxygen, helping kids breathe, or using a special pacemaker. This is a big problem. Kids' hearts can be tricky. Doctors need to know what works best. Right now, they're still figuring it out.
